The first time I started playing EQEMU I patched everyhing right into the EQ folder. In order to play regular eq I had to do 5 minutes of patching, then to play EQEMU I wuld have to repatch KMRA. No biggy, then out of no where live eq stopped working completely and would not patch no matter what. I had to reinstall eq, then I reinstalled EQEMU wit the titanium CDs into a completely different folder so I didnt have to keep patching. I figured that when Live EQ stopped patching before it was from repatching back and forth over and over again. It worked well for about a week, and then I got the same exact problem again; couldnt patch live eq... Now I have to completely reinstall again and re patch, if anyone knows whats going on or has had his happen to them and knows how to fix it please let me know.

you must be doing something wrong because I keep both EqEmu and Eq Live with no problems , I keep them in two different directorys

yea... thats what I did I put them in two entire different directories the second time... I personally could care less about Live but my Stepdad and Stepbrother play live and Im beginning to think its just happening because of Vista rather than EQEMU, but they blame EQEMU and it pisses me off.

I have 3 eq directories, one for Scorp, on for regular eqemu, and one for live.

All work as intended with no issues, could be a **shudder** vista issue, lord knows there is plenty of issues for that OS.

I use live to get chat logs off the npcs :)
make sure you got your shortcuts made right, and make sure the shortcut is set to run in the the same directory it's pointed too.
