WOW Like Soulstone.

I am wondering if anyone has implemented "WOW like" soulstones i am going to have a look at it if no one has already done it but don't want to reinvent the wheel.

This would actually be pretty easy to do. It would require the Gate spell clickable, a defined cast time, a recast time, and be able to click from any slot. I believe these columns in the items table (http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=EQEmuDBSchemaitems) should do it:

casttime: 10000 (10 second cast time)
clickeffect: 36 (spell id for Gate)
clicktype: 1 (should cast from any slot)
recastdelay: 1800 (30 minute cooldown)
recasttype: not sure (you'll probably need to find what other items use the gate spell, and use the same recasttype, unless you want it to be on its own timer)

Everything else should be able to keep the default values.

WoW Soulstones are for self rezzing, not gating.

The soulstone effect would have to be self-cast from an item with one charge that casts a Divine Intervention buff on the user. However, you'd have to find a way to make it fire off 100%.

Also, it wouldn't work quite like in WoW; in WoW, when it went off, you'd be 'dead' and would get to choose when you popped back up. If it works like Divine Intervention, it'll automatically heal you to full when you are about to die.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

To be honest it was Hearthstones i was thinking off, its strange how the first reply was on my wavelength heheh, sorry for the confusion if any one with the ability could change the Title to reflect my inability to describe an item from a game i play every bloody day of my life..... i need help ..... thank you.
