Can't load into World...

hey guys,

I'm having another problem.. when I click "Enter World" on my toon. it freezes with the music still play, so I pulled up the command propt and it read this:

Looks like you need to dump and reload you database from the looks of it.

The first 2 posts you made are normal. It checks all versions of EQ until it finds the one that the user is actually using. I am not exactly sure why it checks all of those old ones, since I don't believe players running those versions are able to run on new servers anyway. But that is something everyone sees when players connect. Happens every time.

However, your 3rd post is NOT normal lol. Seems like you have database issues at least with your character_ table and maybe others. Andrew80k may be right that you need to reload your DB. Have you tried restarted your PC? And have you checked the character_ table for an entry of that character name Holly_Longtail?

Actually, it looks like you created the name with an underscore in the first name. If I am correct, it will fail when trying to load that character. The server won't accept characters with first names that have special characters. It does weird stuff and may even cause crashes. Try changing your character name to a single name and see what happens.

Well, I figured out the Holly_Longtail thing, it was a "Quest" in PoK doing that. so thats fixed.
but on Reloading the Database, how would I do that? I'm still new to this.
None of my characters have a name with the underscore, and besides if you tried typing the name in with a underscore in-game it won't work. so yeah.

Oh yeah, how do I set my characters up to have like 500k of plat? I have all 231 GM commands.

Oh and, when I try to summon a item or do a search on a item, have like all my characters fully anguish geared, then log-out of the game then back in like 25 mins later, once I click on "Enter World", it just sits there for hours an dosen't do anything, with the music still playing, and the character frozen. However, I can make a new character and enter the world but it'll still do what my other character was doing. How would I fix this issue?

Are your logs giving you any errors? Do you have a logs directory in your emu directory? Yes Holly Longtail is a quest. And Trevius is right that the first 2 are normal and can be ignored. After thinking about this for a bit, I'm not sure what is wrong, so posting your error logs would be useful in helping you. At least the pieces that have errors.

First, Are your error logs saying anything? The "Camp" button should work, I believe. As for Anguish, you're out of luck for the time being. The PEQ database is only up to PoP. It'll be a while before all the Titanium content is there. Do you have the quest pack from PEQ? That's usually the culprit when your quests are not working.

Well, let me start up server again, and I'll reply with the "Camp" button issue.
and yes, I have the quest pack from PEQ.
by the way, not sure if this will help but I'm running "ax_classic" on my server.

If your flagged as a GM you will get that screen, #gm off Then camp and you will not get that msg.

Yeah, I usually have the "#gm on" command on all the time.
