These seem to be really odd. Even with my timezone set to Eastern Time (GMT -4), it's showing that it's 9 PM right now. What's that all about?

Ya, mine does the same and I think it always has. A little annoying.

Control panel is set up correctly, time must be off on the box.

i am in US EST which is +4, but i had to set mine control panel to -8 in order to have a correct time. In other words its off by 12 hours

Yeah, it thinks it is 4am, but it is really 8pm here, and my CP settings are correct.
