Hi. yea thats just a little video driver info that pops up i have had it and i do the same telling it not to show . you could update your video drivers , also not sure how much ram you have on video that can cause a crash i run 128mb video card with no issues also run a 64mb on comp 2 fine i have 512mb ram in one pc runs good but pc 2 has 128mb ram and has trouble with some zones (like if i use the pc that has 64mb video and 128mb ram if i make a new character and i try to go to gloomingdeep i get kicked to the login but after the char is made and i can then relog in with no issues

you have to update your video card drivers at the web site of your video company you must know the name brand and model number of your video card and google it should have a support page with driver updates I'm sure some cards maybe incapable with eq /eqemu/ but not sure what cards that maybe

if you and bro have the same kinda pc and both are updated the same then your right .its prob not your video driver then. only other thing i can think of is eqemu server have a set time for a player to connect with the server if you time out due to a slow connection (your isp) then you will get kicked to the login screen or char select . you did change your EverQuest host file to the settings for Eqemu right? if not then your pc will try to hook up to live in sony folder in eq will be a text file named eq_Host in it it will say [loginserver] Host=eqemulator.net:5998 make sure yours is the same . other than a slow connection from your isp im not sure what it could be .

ok . try this the pvp server you are trying to play uses the old look for all char. so go to options at log in screen and uncheck all the box's and mounts/elmentles for male and female see if that helps

Vallon/Tallon will only allow 2 people from 1 IP address to be logged on at any one time. So if there are already 2 characters logged in at your house, it will boot you forever.

IP is only per computer if you have multiple IPs provided from your ISP and you have your network setup to reflect those settings. Most ISPs will only allow you to have 1 IP address and that is given to your router. Your router then translates that IP address and allows all of the PCs on your network to appear as that one IP to everything else on the internet. This is called Network Address Translation (NAT) and is very common on almost all home networks these days. It also helps protect your PCs from full direct access to the internet, which keeps hackers out.
So, VZ/TZ sees the IP of your router only and any computers behind that router show up as coming from the same IP. So you can't have more than 2 connections per house-hold.

No, SZ/TZ is set up to only allow a max of 2 characters for a reason. Providing a way to get around that (if it was even possible) would be a smack in the face to the devs of that server. I honestly can't think of any way around it and even if I could, I certainly wouldn't post it here. That should be considered hacking as far as I am concerned and if the TZ/VZ team found out you were doing it, you would be banned.
So in short, the answer to your question is "no". You guys can each play 1 character at a time, but you cannot box any extra characters.

The only thing I can recommend for that is to bring this up on the TZ/VZ forums linked earlier in this thread. I doubt they will be able to do anything to help you though. They are limiting IPs so that people aren't boxing multiple characters to gain advantages over other players. Probably the only reason they even allow 2 connections is to allow wife/husband to play together, or any 2 people from the same house. It is pretty rare that 3 people from the same house would be playing together.
