If you use CVS to checkout the source, you can use the -D (http://ximbiot.com/cvs/manual/cvs-1.11.6/cvs_16.html#IDX249) switch to specify a specific date.

0.5.7-DR4: 5/27/2004, but still current thru 6/14/2004 (http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=15052)?
0.5.7-DR6: Before 9/24/2004 (http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=16013) & 7/4/2004 (http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14662), probably closer to 6/21/2004 (http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14453).

One other thing to keep in mind is the 2 different CVS repositories: eqemu (http://eqemu.cvs.sourceforge.net/eqemu/eqemu/eqemu/) & eqemulator (http://eqemulator.cvs.sourceforge.net/eqemulator/EQEmuCVS/Source/). The first stopped being updated around 4/8/2004 based on the changelogs (http://eqemu.cvs.sourceforge.net/eqemu/eqemu/eqemu/NewSource/changelog.txt?view=markup) and the 2nd is the current repository, so based on that, I assume 0.5.7-DR6 would be in the current repository.

yeah i tried that looks like they actually cleaned the repo at some point cause it kicks a bad file or directory error or some such
