Hopefully this post won't violate some forum rule that I didn't see. I'm just posting this because it seems like a darn good opportunity and I figure some people might benefit from it with so many people having websites for their servers.

www.000webhost.com provides free website hosting with no banners, popups, or other advertisements. They give you 250mb disk space and 100gb monthly traffic. They provide free mysql databases, php support, ftp, etc... You can configure your own domain name to point to your site.

They provide a great control panel and you can even use your own htaccess file to avoid seeing their (000webhost's) 403, 404, etc pages. I've been very happy with these guys so far. There is very little downtime from what I have seen and for a free service, it's tough to beat...

If anyone sees any catch here, please let me know, but I haven't seen one yet other than them urging you to upgrade to a premium account.

Here's my quick test site. I'm using it to host a phpbb forum and I'm planning to eventually use it to host some php scripts to execute against my local db.

Hope that helps anyone looking for a webhost.

From http://www.000webhost.com/includes/tos.php:

The following rules apply while using 000Webhost services:

The most important rules are:
1. No adult content or any kind.
2. No warez / hacking / phishing sites
3. No mass mailers / spammers (account will be automatically suspended if you will try to send mass mail), so if your software supports such feature, disable it right now.
4. We do not allow any public image or file hosting server scripts to be run.
5. Chat, proxy, or file download scripts are not allowed.
6. Paid-to-surf, auto-surm, buxto, and any other similar scripts are banned
7. We do not allow online gaming scripts such as ogame, mafia, etc..
8. Nulled software such as ip.board or vbulletin is not allowed to be hosted
9. Account cannot be used only to store files.

So, if you're looking to make your own forums, count this out.

Aside from that, the whole referral program seems a little fishy (not quite a pyramid scheme, because you're not paying anything, but is kinda feels like it), but everything else seems pretty good.

I think that 'Nullified Software' is referring to things of the non-legit nature:

I'm pretty sure it's OK to host your forums, though.
