Having followed all the instructions,
fresh install of EQ:Titanium, changed the shortcut and the EQhosts file, registered for a forum name and a server login name, I still get thrown to install Launchpad and it eventually says I don't have a username and password. Am I fundimentially doing something wrong??

The most likely cause of this is that your shortcut reads "...\everquest.exe patchme" rather than "...\eqgame.exe patchme"

what do you mean install launchpad? if you mean sony starting to install their patches then yes make sure its using the eqgame.exe and space patchme one word after the path... if your patch ran fully you will have to delete and re install again :/
