Normally I only get that if the login server is down. Which does happen from time to time...

well for some reason if my server stays up for a long time it always reverts back to those errors and nobody can get on...i then have to reboot the world and zones again for people to be able to get in....nobody is having these errors but me and sometimes you trevius?

This happens to me too, sometimes after only a few hours but usually within 2 days it starts to give me that error and I have to reboot.

Sorry for the double post, but I just booted my server back up about three hours ago and I left it alone, checking on it about once every half hour and it was fun until about the second and a half hour. I got the connection errors again, rebooted and it worked fine. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Was thinking about it a bit, and I bet your issue is DHCP. Certain ISPs use quick timers for DHCP IP address renewals (leases). Some DHCP leases are as short as 1 hour to 8 hours and some are very long. Mine, for example, doesn't get released more than 1 time per month or so.

So, you might want to check the IP of your router and see if it is changing frequently. I had an issue with it when I was running DD-WRT on my Linksys router. The IOS was really nice, but I had to revert back to manufacturer software due to this weird DHCP issue that DD-WRT was causing. It would release my IP and renew it, but would cause my whole internet to go out. You probably don't have that exact same issue, but I wouldn't be surprised if your issue was possibly with DHCP. At least if your server is working some of the time and then getting that error after a while. Power cycling your router should restore connectivity. If it does, then you might need to look at your router config. It could even be your DHCP settings for your LAN.

Sounds more like a DNS issue. Who is doing your DNS, your ISP or yourself?
Have you tried getting the IP for eqemulator.net and using that instead? ie:<HOST>64.251.21.39</HOST>
