When I try to login (using MiniLogin) everything goes well until I click Enter World. Then the everquest screen pops up...then it drops me to server selection.

The zone servers say there was an unexpected packet.
It says:

254426 New client from ip:127.0.0.1 port: 1469
Login packet 1 (OP_SetDataRate = 10)
Unexpected packet during CLIENT_CONNECTING2: OpCode:0xe821, size: 4

so? hehe jk

almost everyone get this. it is because the packet was never programmed into EQEmu and it wants to be seen. if this is fixed it will probably fix alot of the connection problems people are having (although it wont be anytime soon because the coders arent coding right now.)

Is there any possible way I can play?

0.3.4 is provided "AS IS" and only ment for other coders to work on. it may work for some people but there is no support for it because it was NOT completed and does NOT fully support the last two patches (although it is ment for the june12th patch).

I'm not using 3.4
I'm using whatever the one before that is (0.3.3.1 I think) and the updated minilogin.

You can only use the older 3.3.1 version if you have the correct older EQLive set of files. If you didn't have 3.3.1 working before (and havn't patched since then), then there isn't really a good way of telling what version of the various files you have.
