Dual Core/ Vista..

I have read the sticky and followed all of the instructions which include

download optimizer : done that, im assuming it works automatically as i couldnt locate it anywhere once i installed it?
change compatibility: done it for every available item in the dropdown
download the affinity changer: done that
change affinity manually: done that

and it still doesnt work?

The game constantly slows down every second or so, making it pretty much unplayable, happens on all servers.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Interestingly enough, don't do anything special and try running two accounts at once. Or even three, depending on your system specs. Sometimes you just need to bog down the system sufficiently, spread it around.

If I'm running only one account, I set the affinity and/or run in compatibility mode for XP. If I'm running two or more, I make no special adjustments at all and it seems to work fine.
