what do you mean "not activated"? if the files are there the emu will use them. can you not zone to velious zones?

im not sure what you mean by velious interface. the client interface is basically the same for all levels of expansion until Luclin isn't it? As I recall the changes to the UI were made post kunark pre-velious. Unless you mean the splash at startup and the login screens?

I think he is talking about in Velious, when in full screen you can open inventory (I think everything but spells) without switching screens. only Veliuos active accounts have this "new" interface:)

Yeah I noticed velious is down also - no velious armor textures. I think it's something to do with login server :) Will post fix I had earlier once I get home

You get armor textures or you get full screen inv?

I think I recall reading in a recent patch message how they changed it so even people without Velious/Luclin can use the full-screen inventory window now. Try patching with the newest data and see if that fixes it.

Just to let you know. Armor textures are client based. These need to be turned on. Make sure all the armor in client.ini is turned on. I remember I always used EQU to edit the client options and armor is off by default.

ahh i meant inventory, for vel textures do double check your settings and client.ini.

1.9 doesn't count because that was preSoL version. Can anyone confirm that velious textures work on EQLive? I heard there was a problem. I thought at some point I had seen a druid that had velious texture that suddenly looked like leather, but that was sometime ago and I figured that Verant would fix that.

I just checked EQlive with last night's patch and I see that velious texture is in SoL.

Ok back to the interface. I have all the expansions active on EQlive, but that shouldn't make a difference for the eqemu -- we should still all see and get the same things as long as you have the expansions in your client directory.

Anyone have a better answer? (I mean this is the best answer I can do at this time).

Hmmm, messed around with all my local options, still no velious textures  I think it could be a problem with that EQ installation, once I find the box I packed all my old EQ cds in we'll see, I uninstalled this computer's EQ to find I packed the cd away when I moved :o
