Grouping

Hey guys,

I did some searching and couldn't find what I was looking for but I have a group problem since moving to the public login server.

Everytime a group zones it disbands. I get the message unable to get group id, char not found in the debug but I can see everything in the db the way it should be.

Any ideas?

If you updated your server code to newer than what you were running before, make sure you run all of the required SQL. Without the proper SQL changes, groups won't work right at all in the newer versions of code.

That was the first things I checked and everything is in place.

I think it has something to do with the bot code but without being a coder I cant confirm it.

I agree with you - I also see this error ( i thought it was because I had no pcs in the group). But haven't given it importance since I have to re-group the bots after zoning anyway.
I haven't tested lately, but used to be, I could zone with a combo of bots and pcs, and would still hold the pc after zoning.
