Non legit servers?

Hi everyone. It's been eons since I've played and I wanted to get my feet wet on a nonlegit server. Are there any up and running? Thanks for your help and safe huntings!

Most of the players on the TOP 20 there have been on the server upwards of 2-5 years !! And still having fun , still going strong but this server is certainly nothing like Live as you can see by their gear / hp... Overpowered you may ask ? CERTAINLY NOT !!! The raid encounters / regular content is difficult so the gear is a requirement (for instance the epic 2.0 on RA is n00b gear)

I am not sure about non-legit servers. There is one called Freedom Server (I think that is/was non-legit) but I usually run a mini-login server if I want to play non-legit.

My recommendations:
PEQ is closest to live I have found.
Raid Addicts is a blast. Can get hard fast though.
Stormhaven has a lot of custom content and worth checking out.
The Edge is really fun especially if you roll a Necro since you can have 4 pets at one time.

Could keep going since each server has its own flavor but my suggestion is to try each out till you find one that fits your playing style.

There's maybe a few (Freedom, which may or may not be up still) But the best non-legit server is the one you run yourself. Check out the various guides to running a server, and see what you can do to set it up. If you have any problems setting up a non-legit server, post your issue on the forums.

The issue with playing on someone else's non-legit server is the Op normally chooses what commands you have, and it's a power struggle between the players and the op on what you can do and cannot do. That's the reason why these people are posting their legit servers; they are more controlled than a non-legit server and less chaotic.

That being said, if you still want to go on a non-legit server, i'm not stopping you, but remember the issue I pointed out.
