For a while now I have been looking for a EQ "Private Server" closest to the original game as possible.. Or something to play on when fortunatly i came upon this site. Although unfortunatly I have no idea what servers I can actually play on or if there even servers and just not projects... not only If I found a server that I could play on I would need help actually connecting to the server.. I would not know the first step on actually getting connected.. Any info would be a blessing

Sorry I dont know if this is the right topic for this site.

looking here (http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=PlayGuide) would be the best place to start, and there are many servers to choose from. Once you get connected to the login server you will see all the servers listed.

only Everquest Titanium Edition will work for this, I know you can get it here (http://www.amazon.com/Everquest-Titanium-Pc/dp/B000CPSHFS/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1232328070&sr=8-9)I'm sure there are other places too! If you just want to play and not set up a server, Just follow that link I posted earlier and it will walk you through all the steps. Once you get Titanium installed and follow that guide it will become very clear from that point forward.

how do i connect to the individual servers?
Almost all the server are connected to 1 Hub "login server" You will see them on a list like you did in live.

Everything you need to know to play on EQEmulator is described on this page.

LoginServer is what you log in to to choose a server on a list. It is a hub of all EQEmu servers.

It's not supposed to be an overly complicated process. Get EverQuest Titanium (i'd prefer you buy it but i'm not stopping you nor supporting other means), install it, create a loginserver account on the forums, modify one file, and log in using the account you created on the forums. click server, press play, create char, etc... i'd suggest playing on ProjectEQ, its as close to classic as you're going to get on eqemulator
