Trouble Playing

Hey everyone, i'm new to the emulator, but i'm an old EQ player, and i've gotta say i was pretty pumped when i heard about this. However, i've encountered a problem...i got my login and all that setup, and upon trying to connect to a server, the EQ window minimizes, and then nothing happens. Eventually I cancel out of the program by right clicking the toolbar icon and closing it, and it says the program wasnt responding. Any ideas on how to fix this? thanks for any input.

not an expert here but til the more knowledgable comes around i can at least try an help.

"sounds" somthing clientside although it may not be. have you tried updating your video/sound card drivers to the most recent?

have you tried running EQ with WinEQ2 (http://www.lavishsoft.com/joomla/)? it "might" fix your issue. honestly this program is the only way ive been able to use the titanium client across three different boxes so far and it not acted funny.

just taking a couple guesses bro. hopefully one o' them might work or a guru will be with you at some point today. ;)

Are you using EQ Windows by any chance? I have a problem similar to that when using EQW.
