Hey my question is this, I have just recently downloaded Everquest Trilogy, and I know you guys are all on Everquest titanium. Is there any way I can still connect to this private server using Everqust trilogy instead of titanium? If so, how do I go about doing it. Sorry I am a complete noob when it comes to this.
I just recently decided to get back into Everquest, and decided to find private servers. Then I found this one. I really wanna get back into the game, I just need help setting this all up.
If antone has some advice or directions I can take that would be greatly appreciated!

Not only that but the emu will NOT work with any other client. Titanium is currently the best supported, but SoF is coming along nicely. It'll be a little while before it's where Titanium is now, but it's coming. No other clients are currently supported by the emu.

No other clients are currently supported by the emu.You can also use the 6.2 client on many servers.

Yeah, I did start to throw that out there, but I didn't really think it helps that much. I'm not sure how easy the 6.2 client is to get and I don't want to muddy it too much.

what is the 6.2 client? is that an original kunark or velious install?

The '6.2 Client' is the client that is compatible with EQEmu version 6.2 and later and marked the point where the developers stopped 'chasing Live'. The exact build date (from logs/dbg.txt) is:
Starting EverQuest (Build Aug 4 2005 15:40:59)
It doesn't correspond to a retail release, so mostly only long time followers of EQEmu who made a copy on that particular patch day will have a copy.

Since you just need the CDs, check eBay! I have seen it there for as little as $5 shipped many times.

I'm another person interested in trying this out and I'm wondering if Everquest: Secrets of Faydwer will work? or does it HAVE to be EQ Titanium? It supposedly has all previous expansions included with it and it's only $6 on newegg including shipping.
