Hey all, let me just start by stating my problem. I can get as far as the server select screen, and it is blank every time, never have seen a server as of yet.
Now onto what I've done
-EQhost.txt is in perfect order
-EQgame has the patchme prefix and works
-Firewall is off/AVG off
-Changed router settings to port forward all ports needed
-plugged straight into modem, same issue:shock:
All I end up having is the blank server select screen, everything else looks fine, and there are no errors.
What do you think?

I think it could be that you may be using the wrong version of the client. Currently only Titanium is supported by most servers. Though, many versions of EQ will still let you see the server select, the current version of EQLive won't even get that far. So, if you have somehow patched at all or if you are running the wrong version, there is a chance that is the problem. Also, if you are on a wireless network, that could also be an issue.
The only time I have ever seen this issue on my home PC is when I am running stuff in the background that is using alot of system resources. So, if your PC isn't very high end, or if you are running something else, maybe even antivirus, you could be potentially causing the issue for yourself.
Also, I see you mentioned changing your port forward settings in your router. You don't want to do that at all unless you are planning to run your own server. And even then, you wouldn't want to Port Foward, you would want to Port RANGE Foward. They work differently and could cause issues.

It was port range forwarding when i was diddling the router, basically nothing is running in the background and I'm running titanium lol, But I am on a wireless connection, full connection though, it just sucks that even when I bypass the router completely and jack into the modem itself, I get the same thing.
How do i check the version? I have made sure not to patch whatsoever for this install, hadnt installed it before.

Probably the easiest way is to just look at the eqgame.exe file in windows explorer and check the date it was created. If that date is later than 2006, then you have a problem :P
Also, if you are using an illegal version of EQ Titanium, that isn't supported here and is very often the cause of issues like this. It has to be a legal retail install from the CDs.

08.11.2005 for eqgame.exe
I'm using the retail cd's, I read on another post that he had tried:
Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994
Is that worth a shot? Any other ports?
Thanks for the help.

Only port 5998 works. Are you following this guide?

Trevius is correct. Your eqhost.txt file is incorrect.
