The login server has been down since yesterday,

I don't want to come off like I'm pissing and moaning. But can we get a server restart or something?

Can we all get on the same page and make sure that this isn't happening every Tues-Wed or Sunday-Mon?

It is absolutely killing server population and driving down interest in Emu as a whole.


Can we please get this on the right track?

Maybe but until someone develops a login server we're stuck with what we have. From my understanding it cannot be given out to people and is completely closed source.

Maybe someone should just post an announcement when the login server is actually UP; THAT would be news. The login server being DOWN is the status quo these days.

They dont care that it's killing population or w/e...if they really cared they would give out the source code to more dedicated Dev(s); god knows they have requested countless times.

It isn't a software problem, its a hardware problem. The current devs are also very dedicated, and we should be thankful they are around at all.

Can anyone explain in detail whats making the login server malfunction?
What kind of hardware error?

Feel free to look around the forums for a few minutes and read through any of the multiple posts about the status of the Login Server and what is being done about it. It is already being discussed and a resolution to the current issues is in the works. Hang in there, it shouldn't be much longer until we have a very stable Public Login Server!

Image and myself (mostly image) have completed work on a new loginserver. Working out the few last kinks and it will be ready. Will be run on a server that has WAY more computing power than what is on there atm.
