take solace in the fact the problem is addressed and a solution is underway. hang tight in the mean time and find other things to do.

trust me, I am disappointed too. I have the day off of work (used PTO for a short thing this morning..) and I wanted to play all day : )

Do these outages really last days, or was someone blowing it out of proportion in another thread?

there have been stints where the issue has been there throughout different times of multiple days but I can't recall a time where it was longer then a few hour to wait to be able to login.

I wouldn't sit there and hammer at it though, you'll just get frustrated. go watch a movie, take a nap, get some food or something.. and try again.

I find playing SolidWoW during this time makes it easier to handle :)...

If you're looking for a free WoW server that works really well checkout www.solidhangout.com during these down times...

But... SolidWoW does not fill the hole in me that can only be filled by Classic EQ :)

Was able to play for 90 minutes this morning, then had a random CTD. Now I'm getting my daily "incorrect password" on each account.

Getting this error message on trying to log in. Just wonder if these is an issue with server or I have done something at this end to bugger up my connection.

Whenever someone who has power to reboot sees that its messed up.

I know this was to good to be true when I found it..

Don't give up so soon Core....I have been around on EQemu since 2004/2005...this is the worst is has been, ever. In those 4-5 years of playing here, I *rarely* had any problems playing.

Wish more people atleast had the power to reboot the login so when it is easier to fix.

Edit: Because i would rather dig my eyes out with rusty nails the play live EQ.

Exactly! I see dev's posting to "be patient" etc... Well, if they are posting while the server is down, why aren't they rebooting?? Simply because they don't have access I'm sure...

If the powers that be are THAT paranoid that even dev's can't have reboot powers, we are in a bad way :(...

Just who are the "powers that be"? Im not asking for names or addresses - just "the developers" or "some guy that wrote in when DOS was mainstream". It is becomming obvious that whoever it is doesn't care whether it's up or down. Is it that hard 2 create a login server? I have seen mini logins advertised and classiceq is distributing their own.

If something isnt done soon the eqemu common server concept is gonna flush with each server going independant. There is support (i'e seen posts offering money and time) for setting up another server. Is there anyone who will take the lead on that? Exacttly what are we waiting for? Does anyone really believe that this is anything other than neglect?
