Mysql won't run as a service anymore

mysql is showing checkmarked but I cannot get it to really run. I even tried reinstalling. WTF is going on? I didn't even change anything and suddenly the mysql service won't run and or let me make it run! HELP!

Open a command prompt and start it manually using the mysqld binary. The error preventing it from starting will be displayed. If it's related to username/password, launch it in safemode to fix permission related errors.
