This was posted on the PEQ forums last night:

Sometime tomorrow FNW is going to bring us down, and switch us over to the new box. He has limited time, so he is only going to do the switch, and boot the box. Hopefully, I'll be able to do the rest of the work from here and get us back up. If not, well then we'll have some downtime until FNW can get back over to the server farm.

For those interested in the new specs we'll be running:

Dual Quad Core Intel Xeons @ 1.6GHz per Core Socket 771
4GB ECC FB-DIMM DDR2
300GB Mirrored array (Hello InnoDB tables!)
Gentoo Linux

We should see a significant boost in performance, and hopefully lag should be reduced drastically. Also, I should actually be able to get work done when there are 200+ on :)
