I'm stupid. You're smart. I was wrong. You were right. You're the best. I'm the worst. You're very good-looking. I'm not attractive. With that out of the way, whats the simplest way to make one model available in a different zone? I don't understand a lot of the threads that talk about it in 2005. Basically, I want to put a rabbit in PoK because, well, I've never seen a rabbit in Pok and I kinda want to. BTW that quotes from Happy Gilmore

The basic idea is that you have to edit a file in your EQ folder. The file should be named something like "poknowledge_chr.txt". Then, you have to figure out what to add to that file. I think the PDF guidebook (don't have a link to it offhand) has a list of what race is what for editing those files. Then, you need to change the total number of races to load so that it equals the new amount you have the file set to load. If you are just adding a rabbit, then you should just need to add 1 to that number at the top of the file.
Really, your best bet is probably to read those posts about it from 2005. I know I have seen a couple that explained how to do it pretty well.
The downside about doing this is that if you have other players on your server and you want them to see the rabbit too, they will have to either edit their file as well, or download the edited file from you. Otherwise, they will just see a human where you see a rabbit.

Go here (http://eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=25003&highlight=globalload)and just follow these simple instructions. If you just want to do this for a single zone, go here (http://wizardportal.dyndns.org/eqemu/eq.html), scroll down to the "Other Files Offered for Download" section, and download Eqemu Guide Book13. Then read pages 45-46.
