Using a SoF client.
zones table has all zone entries up to SoF
Not 100% sure what rev i am upto but the latest post in my changelog.txt is dated ==4/05/2009==
When i try rto zone to some of the newer zones, IE #zone crystallos. I do not get any error message displayed in game or echo'd into world or zone logs, and my toon just sits there and does not zone.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction to fixing this.

That revision should have no trouble with zoning. Did you try using /zone instead of #zone? If you use /zone, the client might give you an error if you are making a typo or trying to go to a zone it doesn't support. In the case of Crystallos, that should have worked. Are you sure you have an entry in your zones table for Crystallos? Need to have the correct zone name and number that matches it as well as a few other settings in the zone table for them to load properly.

Double checked spelling...
Attempting to use the most recent precompiled rev... to see if that helps.

If it says to enter a valid name when you use /zone, then that is your client telling you it doesn't recognize that name. Which most likely means that your client is not the correct version. Are you 100% positive that you installed a fresh retail copy of SoF directly from the DVDs?

Sigh... Apparently i was using my titanium install instead of my SoF install... Apologies.... and thanks

Since I run multiple directories of EQ (Titanium, Live, SoF EQEmu, SoF Test Server), I just create separate icons on my desktop for each and name them appropriately so it is easy to tell which one I am using.
