Since joining the EQEmu community, I have learned a lot. But one of the biggest things I have learned is the questing system for EQEmu. I have found out that I REALLY enjoy writing, tweaking, testing and generally working on quests. So I was thinking about starting a little website dedicated solely to the questing system in EQEmu. I would feature user written & submitted quests as well as my own (small but growing) collection. Quest tools, support and "How-To's". As well as general quest related EQEmu and Database support, all for the general use of the community at large.

So before I waste too much time and money, if done right is this something that might be received well by the community or do you think this is already being taken care of well enough by forums like this one and others?

And if yes, any suggestions for content?

No offense, but I think that is what the wiki and these forums are for :P

Having everything in 1 site makes it easier for people to get the info they need. Plus, what happens if you decide you don't want to host that site a year or so down the line? It would be sad to lose a bunch of resources that could have been put here and readily available for as long as the project exists.

Agreed. Most quests are at PEQ, custom ones are here, tools are here, and wiki here covers quests pretty well.
