Could anyone direct me to a list of known bugs that were in the CD install version of the EverQuest Trilogy CD?

I've become frustrated with the constant updates from Verant that break the , and I'm interested in working on a project of my own so that will no longer concern me (while frequently borrowing code from the EQEmu Project, of course. I'm not a 1
man coding team after all).

Also- could anyone inform me about release schedules, when or if Verant has updated the contents of the Trilogy CD to reduce the amount users have to download after installations, and the dates that it was done on.

Of course, I'll have to know what bugs were in the release of the game, so I can work around them, or perhaps even fix them. (This is going to be a project that will be specifically for a small community of individuals, around 300 or so people, so no need for me to worry about Verant getting mad when I fix one of their bugs by reading source code) I'd use the original release of EQ, but I'd rather be able to use Iksar and the item textures from Velious, plus the original EQ release (as well as the Velious release) had some wacky video card problems. The Trilogy came out after many bugs were settled, and it doesn't have the problems that came along with Luclin when it first came out- it just seems like the best release to do this with.

I could try to find out all of this on my own, but if someone already knows and can just copy+paste a link, it would be a wonderful time saver (and time is a limited thing before these people start losing interest and move on to another project).

If anyone is worried about me just using the community and not giving back, I'm going to make sure to share any snippets of code for the EQEmu that could improve it-- I'm seeing if I can get a stable game running for my group of gamers. If I can find a way to do this without doing anything illegal (that's my #1 concern, actually. "Just in case" is my attitude) I'll be more than happy to make it open source and give it to all of you. Imagine, a stable emulator without a patch to break it every 30 minutes. Did your hard drive crash? No worries (other than buying a new hard drive), you can make a clean install in minutes!

We'll be doing a Team PvP between Qeynos and Freeport in case you're interested. No leveling, no monster hunting; only small, simple, constantly changing quests to find new items useful for different situations. Think of a capture and hold FPS with RPG aspects, and cities/dungeons in the place of mini-bases.

Edit: When I start using this many parentheses, my mind is wandering. I obviously need some sleep.
