A heads up to anyone noticing your windows file explorer has slowed down recently while browsing your directories on your hard drive.
Turns out that the TortoiseSVN icon cache is the culprit.
To fix:
- right click on your desktop
- select TortoiseSVN/Settings
- "Icon Overlays" and change "Status cache" to 'none'
- Apply and reboot
Took me a while to figure out what the damn problem was so I thought I would pass it along in case others have noticed it.
