When I try and download ANY version of SQL, it errors out during the install, saying ''Error 1335. The cabinet file 'product.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the cd-rom, or a problem with this package"

I've tried several mirrors, and always it's the same. If I try one without the installer, it just errors out when trying to unzip. Has anyone run into this before? I searched the web, but only found people saying to try other mirrors, which I did. 27 of them to be exact.

Definitely the only time I've had that error is when the download's gotten corrupted. Downloads would happen often when I was at school because the connection would be really slow, and for some reason, cut off partway through the download.

Besides trying different mirrors, you could try downloading a torrent of it, although I don't think there are any official torrents available.

To test this, I went to a friends house and downloaded several versions of sql onto her computer over her stable internet. I still ran into the exact problem, on several versions! Something is amiss here, and it's maddening

You may have some bad memory in your machine.

Other than that, try this link which relates to the 1335 problem:

Thanks. I tried the fixes and tested the memory. Still no go :(

Tried an older release? I am not sure if they released a new version and caused problems.
