Hi there!

Name's Prometheus, and I am the admin for the server Diablo's Bane.

Today was the first LIVE day of development, and I am pleased to announce that some time in the next week, Diablo's Bane will be 100% up and running.

But enough of that, let's get down to it. Diablo's Bane is designed around a random-loot environment, with some custom-progression planned for later on in the development phase.

The rates will be as follows :

1.5x ExP
3.0x AA

I plan to also include a bot system later on down the line, but we'll see on how things start off at first.

This post is simply here for the purpose of letting you know who I am, and what Diablo's Bane is about.

A random server is the most fun I've ever had playing on EQ Emulator, and I hope that I can share some of that enjoyment with you all.

Any questions regarding the server, feel free to post here. I'll check this thread for suggestions, and any other things that people feel like posting.

Yesterday as our first day, we had an excellent turnout. We had many people come and try the server, and I believe we have a few full-timers. Regardless, thanks all who came to check it out, and to the more that do.

Currently working on progression content. Had a good go so far, with over 45 accounts registered to the server.

Made a character, logged in to the tutorial. First rat I attacked crashed the zone. :(

That actually wasn't you. I was not able to log on, and had to fix something server-side. I then fell asleep, and forgot to boot the server back up.

So, I apologize on that end. But it is up now.

Looks like down again, guessing maintenance, always when I have 30 mins left to play and set on hunkering down to search for stuff!

Any ETA on website, maybe give a posted list of scheduled downtimes there? :-)

Still LOVE the server man!

It appears to be down again. Tell you what though, I have been playing most of the day while watching NCAA football and this is some fun ass shit. Great idea for a theme!!

I apologize for the down-time the last 4 hours. Seems to be an issue with the ISP. Resolved now, pulling the server up now.
