crashing to desktop

ok i did everything right and i manage to connect on other people server (even if i get disconnected after some sec witch datarate should i use i got a french dsl) but when i try to connect on the server i created i always crash to desktop after creating my caracter and i tried different race class and location that didn't change anything (i tried those location on another server and it has worked)
what sould i do?

I used to get that but since I downloaded 0.3.6 yesterday and patched live EQ to the latest version it's worked fine.

You could try that?

Is this a server you are trying to run on the EQEmu login's?

Or is this a minilog server?

i want to play on my own eqemu server but not a public server the one you create on eqemu i manage to do it and enter my world but crash after creating a caracter otherwise i manage to play on the others poeple server but i geet disconnected after 2 or 3 minutes
so it's the part 2 of the read me file that i'm trying to do "hosting your own server on eqemu"

When I tried to make my own private server everything went good but when i tried to "Play Everquest" on the server select screen it immediately gets a "Could not connect to login server, try re-running the patch program. etc" and thats that, cant seem to figure out what the deal is. i have 3.6 and latest EQ patch and followed the readme's instructions exactly even double checked for a small error but nada ;\
