The "new stats" don't seem to be "taking" for effective purposes, they are only "taking" for the #..
what I mean is if i have 5k hp left on the display, I will die if i take another point of damage, even though i should have 5k hp

This is on SoF, right? You should only die if #showstats is not aligned with your actual HP.
I don't get this, but the HP display does seem messed up for > 75 players.
ie. I'm at 98% hp on my display and 5650/5740 but my current hp is actually 3100/5740. I think there will need to be some special consideration for level 76+ hp updates too, sigh.

Perhaps we just need to update it every time CalcBonuses() is called? It may be throwing it a bit wacky if that is the case.
No the stats are synced between server side and what's shown on the client, that is the first thing I checked.
