Dumb butt-ugly bots!

Hi friends, I was testing to see if I could make bot helpers and I can but they always look the same and just stand there like they trees. No matter what race and gender they look like a plain human. They wont join group or anything. They only react after I personaly beat them up because they are frustrating! lol! Can someone help me with this issue? Is it something to do with maps? I would love to have a "Bot-buddy" :P
