Hi there.

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction here, as I have not run into this problem previously. I had recently changed my video card from an Nvidia 8800 GTS to an ATI Radeon HD4850.

Now, whenever I try to play on any server, I get a strange graphic problem in the sense that... textures are missing.

Any ideas? Obviously it has to do with my ATI HD4850 - I have tried the obvious updating graphics driver, reinstalling Titanium, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you in 32-bit color mode?

That could be an issue.

Also, try turning off/on vertex shaders, etc, in the alt+o options menu. Either of these could cause the issue.

Also, you might want to try the /dopropertinting command and see if that helps. I dunno if you need to type on or off after it, but try it if needed. Make sure you zone after entering the command so it takes effect.

Wow. That was ridiculously easy to fix... all I had to do was turn OFF Advanced Lighting.

Thanks for the tips guys.

I'm having Graphics issues also using the ATI Radeon HD4350. It was running fine for a few days then I started getting this. I haven't changed anything. Any Ideas on how to fix this?

I don't know for sure, but that looks to be an issue with your card itself. Maybe it is over heating or something. Have you tried running other graphically intensive games for long periods of time to see if it happens in them as well?

First think I would try there would be to upgrade your video drivers and reboot your PC. You might also want to check and make sure your PC doesn't have a bunch of dust build-up in it causing overheating. If so, get some compressed air and clean that bastard out :D

This problem has the same resolution that Silent (and myself) had. Turn off advanced lighting.

Due to my recent performance issues with SoF/SoD with my ATI card I have been doing some research on the matter. At first I thought to rummage through the live forums in search of insight. Nada. I then decided to see what I could find at the AMD gaming forums and happened upon a series of threads about ATI cards experiencing seriously degraded performance with older games and DirectX 9.0c. The common theme among them: they were all using the very latest version of Directx 9.0c from Microsoft (Feb 2010 last I looked).

On a hunch, I rolled my DirectX installation all the way back to November 2008 and things have never ran better. This even fixed a small camera glitch that I had been experiencing with The Last Remnant.

So, this is something to add to the checklist of things to try perhaps if people are suffering from graphical oddities.
