Note that this is for getting on the TallonZek/VallonZek PvP server, your details my differ slightly if you are playing on a different server.
1. Install EQ Titanium.
2. Change eqhost.txt file as per http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=PlayGuide
3. Change shortcut on desktop per http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=PlayGuide
*** NOTE: CHANGE IT FROM EVERQUEST.EXE TO EQGAME.EXE" as well as adding "patchme"
4. Rename nektulos.eqg and lavastorm.eqg files to .old per http://www.pwnedemu.com/
5. Download and replace spells_us.txt per http://emu.pwned.com/showthread.php?t=10360
6. If you're running Windows 7, go into your Everquest folder and right click eqgame.exe. Go to the Compatibility tab. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode" and choose Vista (just plain Vista). Also check "Run as Administrator" at the bottom. (note that this fixes a lot of problems for a lot of programs in W7). If running Vista, just do the Run as Administrator part.
7. Get EQLindows if you want to 2-box http://www.lavishsoft.com/eqlindows/
7.1 Right click EQLindows.exe, go to Compatibility, choose WinXP SP3, check Run as Admin.
7.2 Make sure you fix the path to eqgame.exe in EQLindows to point at your actual eqgame.exe, the default path is often wrong.
8. Don't forget to click Options and set resolution etc in EQ.
9. Read the server rules at http://emu.pwned.com/showthread.php?t=7085
10. Go gank some noobs.
