Hmm somthing amiss when somone trys to connect to me

Im using the Eqemu login server (not mini)

I can connect fine to myself. but when my friends log in they get booted (world.exe)

here is what i see:

looks fine till after the 0xe521.

I have no firewall. No routers. Straight Cable connection. Win 98box.

this happens whenever ANYONE trys to connect.

any ideas?

Yep they have no problems connecting to anyone elses servers. we played lastnight on FH and one other for a while. No problems.

Even saw other users trying to log in. was a no go.

Striped out the old db and installed a fresh one same story...

Well i was told that my cable service has not enough bandwith upstreem.

However the other night i was playing on my server working on some things for somone. when low and behold i get a tell. SOMONE GOT IN!!!!

however he was the only person to get in.

so who knows whats goin on.

I have posted this problem in the linux support section as well. Exact same thing here. Ive changed network cards, reinstalled OS, tried every possible configuration u can think of. I get the exact same problem on my windows setup and my linux setup. Same exact problem as is shown above. Which really makes this a boggler.

I get this problem too. I looked at the Database for accounts and there are three more accounts showing that some people tried to connect to Malice(my server), but they never made it in. Odd Opcodes.

Now, I dunno if this is because of lag from US users trying to log into a european server or what. Also, the ONLY server I can connect to is my own. No one else's. I log in, get the character made, try to submit the name for approval and it hangs for a moment before dumping me back to the Server select screen.

I'm at a loss, but later this evening, I'll try to get Malice up online. Any other European players try there and see if you're able to get it. Might help troubleshoot some of this problem.

i m under windows xp
i m using eqlogin server
i can connect to myself without problem
but anyone else who tries to connect to my server is disconected after they press enter the world at character creation after the same unknown opcode sent
they can connect to other servers but not mine
what do i have to do plz help =) ?????
