I mean, i knew he was tough (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=736) but...
I was playing with a bot group, seeing if raiding fear was doable. Then i was summoned by Cazic-thule and killed instantly. I checked the log and read the damage. It occured after he cast Avatar Snare (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=1308), but that shouldn't do damage?
I can't see why he could do that much pwnage. Am i missing something?

Odds are one of the Deathtouching golems were up and CT summoned them on top of your tank. CT doesn't DT, himself.

Did you make sure you cleared the golems? I was able to clear Fear twice and take out CT. My BOT raid force had a total of 10 groups and we're level 59. BOTS do need tweaking though. THey definitely can't replace a human behind the keyboard.

I must have missed them. Oh well, try again!
How did you set up the raid force, the #bot raid commands that used to be there aren't working in the current version as far as i know? Sorry if it's obvious, I never had much experience with raids, but i noticed i couldn't invite the bots using the raid window, let alone spawn a pregenerated geared up group (defiant gear would be nice!)
My humble raid force was a single lv 70 group and an overpowered aug, but i have to admit i didn't think i'd need 100 K hits...
I know on live people used to send in pets to take a death touch and then there was supposed to be a change to make the owner take the death touch, even if feigned, but I'm not sure if bots are classed as pets, or why exactly I was summoned rather than the bots who were closer. I might try feigning and then sending in the bots to see if it helps.

On live, mobs only summoned when they had taken more than 1% dmg too, I believe.

The old raid commands for bots do not work. Instead of using those commands, the new ones created by WildcardX use the #bot botgroup command. You can see a list of the commands by doing #bot botgroup help.
