Everquest refuse to run window-mode on Windows 7 home prem

Hi all, hope someone can help out with this as its driving me crazy.

I installed EQ Titanium on my newly installed Windows 7, everything went smooth. The game runs perfect!

Im boxing 4 chars without any problems. But then I by accident pressed ALT+ENTER (Fullscreen mode), this made all other eq windows crash and now its simply impossbible to get the game to start in Window Mode!!

No matter what I do it starts in fullscreen mode. I cant get WinEQ to work on windows 7 either.

So i tried to configure then shortcut to force it in window mode, did not work.
Have been looking for a preference file witch should contain the code for fullscreen, not able to find it.

The only option I got is to restore Windows to just after I installed Windows. So was hoping that someone know something about it.

p.s when using WinEQ the screen is just black. I tried to change desktop colours to 16-bit. But did not help.

ok start up eq only one copy then when it will be in full screen at startup press ALT + ENTER will go back down to mini screen exit eq there you just made them return to the way you had it running before. i'm running windows 7
as well working with newer clients like sod haven't tried two boxing yet and trying to get underfoot working.

to solve the crashes of eq here is how to solve that problem
i was getting a strange error code like 0x000000044
this error code means don't change the rezalotion = screen size
until inside of eq change it back to default 800x600 by running
the OptionsEditor.exe then start eq. after in eq you can change
screen size under options to 1024x768 then use file below for
your mini screen eq.

For wineq to run in windows 7 try this goto control pannel
make sure your listed on the right had side catagory
click on Green color Programs
goto programs and features
you should see
Run program made for pervious windows
click on that if you don't see it in the list
click not listed and browse to program click next.

the file name your looking for is eqlsUIConfig.ini
this is an example of what it should look like
for the mini box so you can two box on your system.
