No servers at selection screen

I just installed EQ, did not run the patcher AT ALL, and followed the instructions step by step. I log in and it says I have 0 of 0 expansions and no servers are displayed. As soon as I enter my password it says there were 2 million something failed attempts to log into my account... Someone before mentioned something about having the FD or S2k version, but I have no idea what that means. Any suggestions, please?

What version of EQ did you install and where/how did you get it? Did you install directly from the Disks?

Installed EQ Platinum on the C drive in Program Files/Sony/Everquest. Yes, I installed directly from the disks.

Everquest: Platinum is not compatible with EQEmu. Only Everquest: Titanium or Everquest: Secrets of Faydwer installed directly from the disks and unpatched will work with EQEmu.

Thanks! I wasn't certain whether EQ Platinum was the issue or not. Now I know.

Yep here's my issue, glad i searched. I'm my head I was thinking i had the right one, but serving for Platinum pulled this up, TY!
