We are currently getting a surge of people because of Everlore, please understand we have this site usually for under 50 people, and are now receiving 250+ users. If you want to setup your own emulated server, you can download the latest version of EQEMu at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/eqemu/EQEmu-0.3.6-Win32.zip?download . If you wish to join a EQEMu server, you must replace the eqhost.txt file in your EverQuest directory with this one here (http://www.eqemu.net/eqhost.txt) . After you have done that, you must signup to the EQEMu forums to have the ability to login to the EQEMu login server. Once you have done this, you can either open EverQuest

Without EQW (use quotes):
"x:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

Or with EQW where you already bypass the patch program.

Ohh, well, good job on the ss part, personally don't even like em... they're way outdated :p And smart thinking on removing the last news post... prolly why there was the flood of people :p

Good thing that post was removed (the one here, not there) as that's definitely what this community does NOT need.

As far as the removal of the news post on Everlore goes, I still think Ashran's quote to one of the stratics irc admins was the most accurate...
