I have everything downloaded and shit and put into a folder called "EQEmu" on my program files list.
When I try to change the Eqhost.txt this happens.

Anybody able to help?

its a permission issue, cant edit the file. either edit your permissions to allow writing to that folder or move it to say the desktop, change it and move it back.

Ok, now when I right click the Everquest application in that folder, I can't mess with the "target" or whatever. It says to change the following like this.

Right Click the EverQuest Shortcut the Install Made. Goto: Properties

Now Change Target

From: "C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\EverQuest.exe"
To: "C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme -w

And when I right click mine this shows up.

First to do that you have to edit a shortcut, so right click and sent to desktop then can change to eqgame and patchme. For the eqhost part right click and hit security, hitlight your username, hit edit, highlight your username again, check the box that says write and apply. you then can go and edit eqhost while its in that folder and just uncheck the write box and hit apply again and your all set.

Now my last question is, where the heck is the server Brell Serilis?
I have a list of some super weird named servers.

if your talking about Brell Serilis from live, all the servers listed are player hosted emulator servers. You cant actually connect to the live servers.

Its either a server that isnt up right now, not hosted anymore or he's talking about live.

Click Apply Done. now you can change the files without taken them back to the desktop area.
