Question guys, i'm using the EMU with minilogin and i was wondering about taught skills. Skills like meditate or specilize that you have to put a point in to begin learning. All of the trainers seem to only train languages when i'm using the EMU, is this to be expected ? If so is there any way to get around it, or is there a way you can edit a character and give it these skills ?

its in the readme.htm if you bothered to read it..
#setskill [skill #] [skill value]
or
#setallskill [skill value]
do not go over 252 on setallskills.

actually i did bother to read it, and that wont work for skills that dont show up on your bar until after you have trained a point in them. You can set any skill you have that way,but with a skill like meditate that doesnt show until you train it up to 1 pt it wont work

You can set ANY skill, even if your character's class isn't supposed to have or use that skill. The only thing I can think of that might affect that is your character's level, if you haven't set their level high enough to learn the skill then you probably can't set it. If you set the level of the character to 50 or higher you can set ALL of your skills, period.

I'll take your word for it but it doesnt work for me. I am running a level 53 character, and if i set a skill he has it gives me a msg about the change and the skill works accordingly, but if i try to set a skill he doesnt have IE meditate nothing happens and he continues to function as if he didnt have it.

you trying to give meditate to a warrior? then yes, it won't effect you any differently, as warriors have no mana... if you're talking about some character that does use mana, then it is working if you #setskill to it. i've got many characters, and many casters, all of them have meditate and it works just fine.
Oh, and level has nothing to do with skills atm, there's no level cap for skills when using #setskill
And the trainers only train languages atm, they're working on getting that fixed i believe..
