View Full Version : Water zone problems

I can see and attack mobs in Kedge Keep just fine, but I can't order my bots to attack them. It says I must first target a monster. I'm doing a progression-style run through the game, so I have to fight in this zone to accomplish that.
Also, seahorses follow you onto the ledge in siren's grotto. I did not venture further in to see if other mobs do. You can't attack them unless you are submerged, but they can follow you onto land. Is there a fix for this I'm not finding? I see posts about water maps, but it looks like they're supposed to work properly.
I compiled this server myself and have it updated to rev 1304.

I backed up my characters and reinstalled the updated database. My maps are fully updated. I still can't send bots to attack in kedge keep. I've tried changing their gender in game, but it says I need to have a target, even though they are targeted. They move around and agro normally and I can attack them, but my bots don't assist me and I can't command them to attack.
Is there a way to check all of the zone's gender outside of the game? I have a bunch of tools, but have yet to find that option.
Or could it be a map problem? I don't mind doing the work. I just don't know what to do.
I tested both of my databases on the Titanium and SoF clients and it's the same. Thanks for any advice!

For some reason the clip plane in Kedge keep is defaulted to really low, change that in your DB to something like the other zones(ie not 25) and you will be able to target and do stuff.
Also some zones like Inktuta have their underworld axis set to 0, so if you zone in and you can't move at all, change that to something more appropriate(like -2000) and the zone is functional again.

I changed it to 100 - 500 and it worked like a charm! Thanks so much!
I also had to change the safe point to Dag zone, because it is set to an area with a spawn for some reason. The Dag loc is 100, 30, 326.75, so that's a good safe point.
