Help please, can't log in together!!

My son and I both want to play together, but the game will not allow us both to log in on the same connection. Is their anyway to fix this? We are both hooked up to the same router, our computers are side-by-side.

Any such restriction will have been put in place by the operators of the particular server you are playing on, in which case you need to ask on their forums.
