stops when downloading models

I have run eq on this machine so i am confused as to what is going on.
I installed fresh copy of sof and when it goes to the splash screen and downloads models equipment etc. just as it gets near completion it simply stops. runs perfect to that point.

any ideas what might cause this?

If you installed SoF and had a previous install of EQ like Titanium or any version and you installed it to the same folder, it doesn't overwrite some required files to overwrite. Try uninstalling, deleting the EQ folder completely, and then reinstalling.

yeah i did that, deleted everything, but still get the same result. at the splash screen it just goes away after models are loaded.

this is what the end of the log file says:
