A question for those using Titanium with Wine:
I've followed all the directions I could find for running Titanium with Wine, and everything is working perfectly except the character models still don't show up. I'm wondering if anyone has any further suggestions before I take the final step of compiling Wine from source.
System specs:
AMD FX-53
ATI 9800XT (using the proprietary ATI drivers)
Debian Lenny
Using Wine 1.1.33 from the Wine binaries list here (http://www.lamaresh.net/binary.php). (The Titanium installer crashed on the latest Wine and discussion on the Wine forums seemed to suggest anything after 1.1.33 had issues so I dropped back to 1.1.33).
Modified eqclient.ini as suggested here (http://mqemulator.net/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=128) (vertexshaders=true, texturecache=false).
The site to download the hacked d3dx9_30.dll was down, so I downloaded a copy of the original .dll, modified it using a hex editor as per here (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=2939) (first post just down the page).
Anyone have any suggestions before I move on to modifying/compiling the source? I'm not a terribly avid linux hacker so it isn't the most thrilling prospect...
