Hopefully someone can point out something simple I'm missing here.
I've compiled a version of EQEmuLoginServer.exe along with moving over a copy of login.ini. I'm trying to get the SoD client working with my Windows server.
Once I boot the server the first few lines check out fine until it gets to a line in the console that says something like "MySQL query failed...."
I wonder if I have the subsystem = line set wrong. Currently it's just the default MySQL; is that correct? What exactly is the subsystem?
Also, in the options block of the .ini file the local network default is: 192.168.1 but my server is DMZ'd...I'm wondering if that makes a difference and what this line should look like?
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this?
