I am still haveing issues with connecting from LAN to my server.
My situation is as follows:
Got the EQEmu Server running on Laptop. Also Client(1) runs fine, no Problems anymore.
Client(2) on another LAN PC connects to Minilogin and i can see my Server in the selection window, but gets disconnected when i click the `Enter World` Button and returned to the Login Screen.
Anyone got ideas where the Problem is or what i can try ?

I'm having the same issue. When I look at the Loginserver console window It has an unknown packet message pop up when I try and log into the world. I'm at work atm so I can't post the exact message but any ideas would be appreciated.

Ok well I have answered my own question. This is caused by your client looking for the worldserver on the wrong ip. To get around it I editted my windows host file to find the WAN IP adress at the correct local IP. Hope this helps anyone who finds themselves in this situation.

How do you edit the windows host file? I am having the same issue. I can no longer log into any character, just instant "you have been disconnected"

go to %windir%\system32\driver\etc
Open hosts file
edit content, if you follow the example already listed for local host in the file you will be ok.
That being said if you are getting to character selection you have already gotten onto the world server so you hosts file should be ok.
