Having a problem with quests.

Hey everyone. I'm new to the emulator and am having a problem getting the quests to work when I compile from source via SVN. The errror I am getting is &main::eval_file undefined. I followed these three guides,

and have tried everything in the forums for correct the problem. The quests are in C:\eqemu\Quests, with the zones subfolder, maps are also in there corresponding location, and both are up to date with the SVN. EQEmu itself is up to date with SVN as well as the DB. Here is a copy of the logs.

I'm not sure why I'm getting the OPCode error, I own the retail version of Titanium

Just an update, everything else works fine except using custom UI's as well as the quests not working. Anyone have any ideas?

You should do a search on the perl error you are getting. there are a couple of work arounds that you could try. There really isn't a good solution to this as it doesn't seem to happen to everyone and the folks that do see it have come up with various fixes that worked for them. It has something to do with the environment in which you are running, but we haven't been able to pinpoint it to any one thing.

You can ignore the OP code error.

1) make sure you have the plugins folder moved to a sub folder of the emulator folder.

2) what version of PERL are you using?

I have tried the work arounds that I have found on the forums, but none of them have worked thus far. I have placed the plugin forward that is inside the quest folder in the eqemu folder, and am using Perl 5.10. When I tried using Perl 5.8 the source would not compile saying perl510.dll did not exist.

Do you have a Perl dll in your Windows/System 32 directory?
If so, delete it, reboot and try again.
