can't get quest from castlen drewe in PoK

I can get my newbie Kobold skull charm from Arias in the tutorial and other tasks there seem ok, and other quests seem to be working normally. I have the svn setup and i checked it's updated (at revision 587, it says).

Castlen drew says "Greetings and welcome. I have been compiling reports from all over Norrath! There are many odd jobs to be done by someone like you. Would you be interested in such a [quest]?" correctly, then ignores any variation of a sentence with the word quest.

i had the same problem with castlen drewe.....here is what i did and it worked

It's possible that your EQEmu version isn't supporting the client version check. The quest file was updated for that last month.

I'm using georges_db_r1496_1316BOTS_.rar from http://www.georgestools.eqemulator.net/ and the quest folder is fully up to date.

btw completed all quests in tutorial

Exactly my point. The quest was updated for the new revision, yet your older revision is not ready for that client version check.

1496 was released by PEQ on May 21, and it's already a few revisions behind.
