Detailed Problem With Login

[GFXMaxx]

1. Update my eqhost.txt to read as follows
[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5999"
}
2. I open eqw 2.3 beta and click start eq

3. I enter Username and Password

4. I log onto Emu servers choose a server

5. I then create a character

6. Then as the server is checking for name aproaval
it stalls for a sec then gives me "You Have Been Disconnected"

7. I am runing windows xp home edition (no sp1 patch)

8. I have 256 megs of ddr ram

9. I use Geforce2 GTS video card with 32 megs video ram

10. I am using a US robotics gaming modem v.90
(average connection 33.6)

11. Pros is a amd 1700 motherboard is msi

12. I have downloaded the 3.7 version of emu but since im not hosting a server, just wish to log on guess this has no bearing.

13. last patch date was sep 15

14. I have Eq with all 3 exspansions in the c:/ProgramFolders/Everquest Dir

If there is somthing i didnt add here please let me know tried to give any info they may be pernate.

try one of the GREEN named servers

they are sometimes experimental(dev test servers)but at least you can be sure they correctly setup their server. =)

where as one of the others ya never know
